More than a football club, we provide the opportunity for our players to develop their self-confidence, discipline and life chances so that they can be a success on the football pitch, in education and within their community.
We work with over 300 children a week providing football coaching at venues across central southwark. We also provide mentoring and run residential, educational trips. in 2015 we have started to work with our children and young people to engage them in projects to improve their local parks.
Southwark AllStars FC is the name of the main football project and is affiliated to the London Football Association.
Charity Trustees and Club Committee
Our trustees are responsible for ensuring we fulfil all the legal and financial requirements that registered charities and football clubs have to meet. The trustees oversee the social and football elements of the club, ensuring everyone is working towards our common goals. Our Club Committee members are responsible for planning and day to day management of the football activities of the Club.
Our Coaches
Our coaches provide coaching and mentoring to the children and young people who form part of our Club. We try to train as many coaches from amongst our ex-players as possible so that they can act as young role models to their younger peers. Our coaches are all qualified by the English FA and fully police checked for their suitability to work with children.
